Kizzmekia S. Corbett, PhD, is a research fellow at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Vaccine Research Center. Corbett leads the Coronavirus Vaccines Team at the Vaccine Research Center’s Viral Pathogenesis Laboratory. She earned her PhD in microbiology and immunology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in biological sciences from the University of Maryland. In May, Corbett was appointed to lead the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health’s new Coronaviruses & Other Relevant Emerging Infectious Diseases (CoreID) Lab.
