Master of Public Health Degree at Michigan State University
A key feature of the Program in Public Health (PPH) at Michigan State University (MSU) is the emphasis on applied knowledge. PPH students are engaged in course work and practical training to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform as a public health professional in the United States and internationally.

Michigan State University Program in Public Health Graduate Certificates
The Program in Public Health offers Graduate Certificates in a variety of subject areas. Certificates were developed to addresss key topics in public health. Each certificate provides an opportunity to learn more regarding a specific subject. Graduate students are able to add a certificate to their studies in another graduate program OR as stand alone certificates. Professionals interested in learning more in a concentrated area of study without a need or desire for earning college credits are able to earn the certificates as a Liflelong Education student.

Dual Degrees
The PPH began developing a number of dual degree programs with units across the campus that are naturally allied with the public health profession. All of the actual or proposed dual degree offerings have been discussed and designed with representatives of each of the colleges to maximize dual students opportunities.
